Here's a cool game for you to play if you like space shooters, I played it many many moons ago. Infact I think it was a birthday present I gave my brother, similar to freespace/privateer etc missions & trades to save the universe!

Is it better than freelancer? Was thinking about giving that game another try, but this seems quite fun aswell

This one is more of a simulator, which means it will be alot harder to play and has alot of features to make it as realistic as possible, aimed to attract space/science fiction nerds like myself :). Freelancer was more of a shooter.

I played the X-Wing series alot, so I'm not concerned about the difficulty level. Do you need a joystick for this game though? Still : Is it more fun than freelancer in your opinion? Exploring and immersive -wise.

X³ was just horrendously slow to get anywhere, I dl it to test it as it looked half decent, but uninstalled within the hour. :(
