CB EC: Squad.ee vs Rockit

Now that the Groupstages are done, it's make or break in the EuroCup XXI Playoffs. The Double Elimination system is in effect and most teams will be trying their best to surprise and win their match. Everything is possible in the playoffs, and usually ending in 4-2 scores since teams are obliged to choose their own map! The first warriors to schedule their match are Squad.ee vs Rockit.

crumbsThe underdogs of this match are Squad.ee, they will be willing to surprise and will believe they can take a victory against Rockit. On the other hand Rockit have 2 line-up changes after hayaa left for Impact and joop is on vacation, therefore RTCW legend crumbs will be taking hayaa's spot and Mr. Warper himself frEeze will be taking joop's spot until he is back from his 2 week vacation.

The odds on GamesTV.org are as tight as a duck's arse and hopefully so will the match be, both squad.ee and Rockit have had some recent & decent results and eventhough on paper Rockit are the better side, 2 lineup changes are never healthy.

The winner of this match will advance to the second round to face FiF who are having though times as well, we wish them luck in finding the appropriate players to continue their journey in EC. On the other hand, the looser team will drop to the loser bracket and will face the loser of Belgian Fraternity/DreaM vs Overload.

mant:"We haven't pracced with the correct lineup for a quite a long time, but we've played together with 4 or 3 from the team, guess that counts as something and ofcourse. I think we can win it, Clowns school of war isn't unbeatable and frEeze promised to teamkill them all the time :P

Even if we lose, we are still happy to reach EC playoffs in our first EC, so all in all there's nothing to lose :)"
Clown:"Will be an interesting game since we have added 2 new members, crumbs after hayaa left, and now freeze, after joop went on vacation. That should make this game harder for us, since we had to switch alot of positions, but I hope we can adapt in time for this official."

Prediction

Squad.ee have had praccing problems while Rockit have had lineup problems, which will turn out to be the bigger problem? My prediction for this match is a 4-2 score for the Rockit side, I believe Squad.ee are good enough to take their map but Clown's leading skills will be enough to guide his experienced team to the next level.
