Today saw a new era of GamersNation.co.uk begin, with the launch of our new site, codenamed GN2.

Although still built on the secure DragonFly Content Management Engine, GamersNation 2 features some extensive custom programming "under the hood" which has been designed to both meet the needs of our members as they've indicated over the 2 years we've currently been in operation, and to allow us to increase the scope of the content we produce here, with several key modules now merged into a single central scaleable Content delivery system.

We have also spent time working on the graphical side of the site and "ease of use" of the site which has chnged significantly from the older website. There are many changes still happening on the website, such as a large overhaul of the competition module which should be completed in the nextfew weeks, just in time for the next GamersNation ET Cup!

Update: SPRD Win #GamersNation Cup With 4-0 Win over cdap-oddjob

With the Crossfire LAN and Warleagues now over, its time for the GamersNation 6v6 Cup to come to an end. Tonight Spreading Death take on cdap-oddjob in what is sure to be an exciting match.

With this being SPRD's Last match, and the cdap-oddjob team wanting to show that thier players are Nations Cup material, this is sure to be a tence match.

With sFx Evil strong favourites to reach the final based on the current betting on GBooky, cdap-oddjob have been known in the past to cause an upset or two.

Yes you have read it correctly, after the last few weeks of group stages of the #GamersNation ET Cup. we have finally reached the knockout stages, where from now on, if you loose a match, your eliminated from the competition.

The first knockout rounds will be played in the week of Monday 24th July - Sunday 30th July.

For the teams taking part in the competition, you must schedule your match this week and pm the Date and Time to Splodge before Friday 21st July, if you do not then your match will be forced to a date and time to suit the competition organisers.

For these matches, each clan picks one map each, if a decider is needed it is done by elimination from the map pool.

The Flying Fins! - aD Crowned #Talk.ET Cup Champions

The Talk ET Cup has finally ended,with the Team angelDust and SKIT-EVIL
fans out in force on the ETTV servers, who witnessed a spectacular 3 map showdown between two almost equally matched teams.

The Night started with Team angelDust attacking on Supply Depot 2, with SKIT-EVIL (Now also known as Mystic Gaming) putting up an impressive defense, and beating the time aD set.


Next, sw_goldrush was played, with aD managing to get a full hold against SKIT and the superior attacking force of aD were able to break the SKIT-EVIL defense and win the map.


Now came the third map, Radar, chosen by elimination. SKIT-EVIL attacked first by winning the cointoss and set a time of around 8 minutes, which was beaten by around 1-2 minutes by Team angelDust


Im sure people will agree that, after a few problems before the start, it was great entertainment to watch once the match got going.

Well Done to angelDust on their win.
We wish them and all the other clans that competed in the cup every success in the future.
