Best players Belgium ever had will try to make their comeback into EuroCup. After being disallowed because of cheating scandal in the past, they have missed a couple of battles. They served their time and now they want to prove to everyone that they're still top team without any external programs.

What is the Fall 2009 Cup Season?
The Fall 2009 Cup season in which ClanBase hosts a mixture of OpenCups and EuroCups (often abbreviated to OC's and EC's respectively) is starting in September and ending just before Christmas (towards the end of December).
Today is one huge MW2 leak-fest it seems. Portions of the October PSM3 magazine (PS3 gaming mag from the UK), specifically the article Shock and Awe have hit the CoD forums bringing with it new information about the game.
Rob Bowling (Director of Communications / Community Manager) provides an explanation of the customizable killstreak, from the article: ...You can have a three killstreak or a fifteen killstreak if you want, so something like the AC-130 is one of the highest killstreaks you can select."
Therefore, you can choose your killstreak reward! Noobie players might not want to set killstreak awards so high, as they might not ever get them. Instead, they can set smaller killstreak targets, leaving the better players with the ability to achieve more powerful rewards for uber-fragging.
ClanBase is proud to announce the start of the Fall 2009 Cup Season. We have had a slight delay but the signups are now open and are due to close on the 13th of September. We have also revised the list of cups which we plan to run this season, including the addition of three new games.

Yes, it is what you have all been waiting for, the chance to play some of the best players in Europe in any game of your choice on ClanBase. After the monthly statistics I thought there might be some interest for a yearly overview of the work of our Cheat and Abuse department - Enemy Territory. I gathered the statistics for cheat cases stored on ClanBase for 2008.
This data only covers the amount of cases that successfully made it to a suspension on ClanBase.
Ofcourse not every case is a succes, sometimes we need more evidence or it turns out the wrong person is being accused. Sometimes we suspend people wrongfully after which people can appeal. Currently we can't run statistics on these numbers. With the introduction of the ticket system we now have a more structured way of dealing with appeal cases, making it also possible to keep track on the number of cases and the time it takes to process them. Perhaps next year they can be included!
