SLAC (SpeedLink Anti Cheat) comes to all ET ClanBase Ladders.

Good news for Enemy Territory, SLAC USER ID has now been implemented within the ClanBase system and ClanBase users can now enter there SLAC USER ID on there guid properties.

All players/clans have to register their SLAC User ID on ClanBase as from now Speedlink Anti Cheat is LIVE on ClanBase.

Speedlink Anti Cheat is MANDATORY and must be run in every match that's played on ClanBase. The only exception to this rule applies ONLY to Linux players (read below).

After a long wait and lots of feedback from the community, Clanbase has released a new set of configs and mapscripts today. These include major changes which are listed below. All the config changes and map script changes were provided to the community by Perlo0ung, a big thanks to him yet again for spending hours in scripting, making fixes, testing etc.

- Warmup countdown has been increased from 10 to 15 seconds.
- b_simpleitems has been unlocked again, you may now use 0-1 value
- Rifle grenades have been increased from 3 to 4
- Snipers (k43/garand) have been reduced to 1, you can still have unlimited coverts. (i.e 4 stens and 1 k43 is possible)
- The Supply main rockjump has been reinstated
- Supply satchel bug to destroy the crane controls has been fixed again
- Upper defense nading_through_the_wall/roof_bug has been fixed again

- cl_maxpackets, rate, snaps are locked again
- cg_crosshairX & cg_crosshairY are EQ to 0
- mutespecs bug is now fixed

As many might have noticed, when ClanBase decided to host a Summer Cup for the community, in 2on2, 3on3 & 5on5 format, we decided to test new stuff, scripts, new maps, config changes, since it is Summer and some change is always nice, rather than the same boring stuff you play day in and day out for your whole ET "career". With AEF coming, the ET.Committee needed to test these changes in a cup with a large userbase, and with Summer Cup right before the lan, it was ideal to get feedback from it.

Changes proposed by the ClanBase Team include the following:

Config changes

• Warmup countdown has been increased from 10 to 15 seconds.
  
• b_simpleitems has been unlocked again (update will be released on sunday)

Mapscript changes

• karsiah.script fix - the South documents are protected with a door which will be automatically opened after the allies secure the North documents
  
• sw_oasis_te - a forward spawn for allies has been added. The flag in the middle bunker cannot be recaptured
  
• caen - axis(attacking team) spawntime 20, allies(defending team) spawntime 30
  - once the gate is blown, is is not constructable anymore
  - after axis construct the command post, they can spawn inside the church
  - tank barrier has been removed
  - when the tank is escorted to it's final place, axis can spawn near the boat
  - landmines reduced from 4 to 3 on caen (sunday)

Changes proposed by the ET.Committee include the following:

• rifle grenades have been increased from 3 to 4
  
• Snipers have been reduced to 1, you can still have unlimited coverts. (to be released on sunday, unless the script keeps on giving problems)
  
• Supply main rockjump has "theoretically" been removed, it's no longer possible to jump over it as of yet

• Nading from outside east to the inside of the "Upper defense" bug is now fixed

The long awaited EuroCup XXI - Semi Final between Dignitas and Overload is finally here, ET-Rankings winner Dignitas will face Overload who has been listed as the third best clan in ET, but this ranking has been taken 2 months ago, and both teams have had lineup changes, Dignitas have lost Night due to army while Overload have correctly dismissed vila & zeto. After these changes, both teams looked a little bit shaky, but both teams have had some time to get back into shape and it will be an intense battle between the two clans to pass to the Upper Bracket Final and face the reigning champions, Fintastic 5.

For all the English speakers, your favourite welsh shoutcaster Owzo will be radio shoutcasting, while for the Polish speakers, s0k1 will be radio shoutcasting this match as well! Tune into the match at GamesTV.

Now that the Groupstages are done, it's make or break in the EuroCup XXI Playoffs. The Double Elimination system is in effect and most teams will be trying their best to surprise and win their match.
